WHO AM I? JOB DESCRIPTION: PROFESSIONAL DATE PLANNER
Hi, I’m Nikki Lazaran, a romance and travel TV producer, avid globetrotter, and the creator & author of Resfeber Junket. So what does that mean, exactly? You could say I plan over-the-top dates for a living.
My career as a Bachelor franchise producer involves planning, scouting, and executing extravagant dates, tropical proposals, and overnight getaways nearly 365 days a year. On my occasional days off, I like to help you do the same.

TRUE LIFE: I SPEND LESS THAN HALF OF THE YEAR AT HOME
Work keeps me fairly busy year-round, but occasionally, I manage to squeeze in a trip on a long weekend or a break between seasons. When people find out that I travel for work for about 6 months out of the year, their follow-up question is usually something along the lines of: “why would you want to travel when you’re not working, too?!”
One of the greatest perks of my job is watching people fall in love. The other is seeing the world. And despite the inordinate amount of time I spend away from my succulents, I can’t imagine turning down an opportunity to see more of this incredible planet.
SO…WHY “RESFEBER JUNKET?”
“Resfeber” is a Swedish word which describes the “jitter” before an impending trip or “travel fever.” Pronounced, “res/feb/ə(r).”
Hint: The first syllable, “res” sounds like “dress” minus the “d.” The second and third syllable sound a little bit like a mix of “fever” and “fibber.”
I chose Resfeber Junket to describe this curated travel and romance content because it perfectly encapsulates the feeling I hope you experience when you join me here. I hope to feed your travel fever and provide you with what you need to live an intrepid life, whether you are fearless in your pursuit of travel or love…or both!
